Port Arthur's Landing Marina Park, Thunder Bay, Ontario: Completed in 2011, the permanent art installation entitled Jiigew, includes an auditory and digital media component.
Comprised of two 20-meter-high Corten steel pillars embedded with cascading LED lights and a recorded audio narration of Morse code, Jiigew, which means “by the water” in Ojibwe, is situated along the shoreline where it serves as a beacon, connecting water, land, and people.
