Pop-Up Kids: One of the things I love about this series is that kids were photographed no matter how they looked. Crazy-messy hair? Perfect! Wrinkled t-shirts? Fine by me!
By connecting with children in five minutes or less, my hope was to bring out a characteristic each child wanted to share. What captured my attention was the inherent intelligence and personality children displayed while having fun in front of my camera.
Portraits were created using a pop-up studio. No make-up, hair, or wardrobe stylists were used.
